From The Fledgling Fund

At 6:30pm January 8th, the IFC center in New York will be showing Garbage Dreams, the story of three teenage boys living on the outskirts of Cairo who survive by recycling 80% of the trash deposited in their village. The boys are faced with difficult decisions as the globalization of their trade threatens the survival of their community. Join the director Mai Iskander and Chicken and Egg's Wendy Ettinger for a discussion after the film. See you there!
