Fledgling

Who doesn't like picking up People magazine now and again?  This weeks' copy features the story of Brenda Clubine's long awaited reunion with her son after 26 years in prison.  Having been convicted of murdering her husband, Brenda participated in the first inmate initiated and led group in the California Institution for Women against abuse.  Convicted Women Against Abuse (CWAA) has changed laws and policies and given a voice to victims of abuse since its founding in 1989.  Learn more about CWAA in the Amazing Reunion's section in the magazine.  Also check out the documentary Sin by Silence for more on the story of these courageous women and how to get involved.
