About the Project

A one-year grant to expand the Building Community During Pregnancy model to two additional community health clinics. Rather than traditional one-on-one prenatal care, this model uses group visits to provide prenatal care, education, and emotional support to pregnant underserved women. One-year grant beginning in 2005, to plan, implement and evaluate the Building Community During Pregnancy, a prenatal group care program for minority and/or recent immigrants particularly Asian and Latino women.
