About the Project

The Fledgling Fund’s support helped underwrite two important Community Programs of the International Center of Photography reaching youth from underserved communities with hands-on photography and writing instruction integrated with self-esteem and life skill-building activities. Portable Digital Darkroom is an ICP collaboration with Friends of Island Academy reaching young women transitioning out of incarceration; and Re-Visions of El Barrio is an ICP collaboration with the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center reaching a select group of their clients.
