So many documentary films are perfect for an enriching classroom experience. Teachers can bring new ideas, perspectives and knowledge into their classrooms through these films. When paired with a curriculum (preferably tied to learning standards) or discussion guide, filmmakers can make the experience easier for busy teachers. We love how Fledgling grantee Documented has captured how the film is being used at a school in California. This kind of video not only shows audiences, funders and partners the power of the film, but also helps encourage more teachers to use the film in their classrooms.
